At Grace United Methodist Church, (Emporia, KS) we envision a world where everyone feels loved, valued, and accepted. We strive to create a community where people can come together to worship, learn, and grow in their faith.

This is Emporia’s meal program that feeds nearly 1,100 people a month. Meals are provided on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 4:30 PM and are served via drive-thru in the parking lot. A meal is available for each person in the car, while supplies last. All are welcome.
We support ESU students through donations and funding for Corky’s Cupboard, the campus food pantry. We also collaborate with the university’s campus ministry by providing food and resources to help care for students in our community.
Our church maintains a small outdoor food pantry on the west side of the building stocked with canned goods and essential supplies. The church office helps keep it filled during the week, and volunteers check on it during evenings and weekends. Anyone in the community is welcome to take what they need, and donations are always appreciated.

For several years, we have hosted a shoe giveaway for students PreK-12. This event is usually in early August, before the school semester starts. We typically partner with other organizations to provide free dental screening, eye exams, and personal care kits at the event. Limited supply; first-come, first-served. If you are interested in donating to this mission, please contact the church office.
We supports local Scouting by hosting Cub Scout Pack 165 and sharing opportunities for youth and families to get involved. Through Cub Scouts and Scouts BSA, young people develop leadership skills, character, and a spirit of service while enjoying outdoor adventure and community. Interested in joining or more information? Contact our church office and we will get you in touch with our Scout leaders.
